Thousands flee in Northern Pakistan

The conflict in northern Pakistan region of SWAT has caused a humantarian crisis for the inocent civilians of the land. This movement of the population is having a profound effect on the wellbeing and de-stabilation of the locals.

Pakistan Foundation is collecting aid in the form of clothes to donate to the elderly men woman and children fleeing the conflict.

Family, friends, donors and supporters of the Pakistan Foundation are gathering clothes to send to the region.

You too can help by donating to the Glasgow Office in Calder Street. We aim to deliver as soon as possible via direct flights by PIA to Lahore.

Member of the executive commitee are leaving in May 2009 and will be taking Charity Clothes to donate whilst there in Pakistan.

Osman Ainuddin, Manager PIA Glasgow has kindly offered to send item free of charge by cargo.
